Kate Waters

In her striking paintings, Kate Waters captures transient everyday moments. Photographs taken on her travels serve as the basis for her painting, as do current events. Waters’ work is situated within the duality between belonging and otherness, structure and fluidity, painterly surface, and photographic presentation. Up My Street is the first comprehensive monography of the artist’s work. It features a selection of pieces from over the last fifteen years.
