These, prints created on request of the Paris art dealer Ambroise Vollard, comprise a total of 100 etchings by Pablo Picasso, from 1930 to 1937.
Suite Vollard, on loan from a private collection, is a complete series and displays Picasso’s enjoyment of experimentation and variation in the field of printmaking through the great variety of diverse etching techniques used. With virtuoso skill, Picasso developed the issues that concerned him during this time, like the sculptor’s studio, the Minotaur and his interest in Rembrandt.
